Overview

Playmaker captures the selected client strategy and materials. The full AI draft starts with the primary company website, researches relevant official pages, and carries supported language into the strategy. Direct client context takes priority over public evidence, and unsupported private details remain marked for client input. Tabs and Hide completed change only the local editor view and browser address, so moving between sections does not remount the editor or interrupt a pending field save. Each field saves on its own short delay. Loading the page and its saved rich text does not count as an edit, so opening an unchanged Playmaker does not create a false leave-page warning. A persistent error banner keeps failed edits on the page and provides Retry save. SalesHive warns before leaving only when edits are genuinely unsaved or a save failed. SDR, SDR Manager, and responder lanes use the client-style read-only preview.

How to use this page

  1. Work in the selected client's Playmaker

Choose a client and complete or review the strategy sections. Client Materials is explicitly scoped to this rendered deal.

  2. Ground the draft in the company website

Open Draft this from the company website, confirm the Client company and Primary company website, and add Direct client context for what the company sells, its best-fit buyer, important proof or differentiators, and anything SalesHive should avoid claiming or targeting. The website supplies public evidence, while your direct context takes priority.

  3. Fill every strategy section with AI

Select Fill out every strategy section and keep the page open while Playmaker researches relevant official pages and drafts each section. The sticky progress panel shows which section is running, how many sections are saved, elapsed time, and whether a section could not be completed. Completed sections save automatically. Review the specific product, audience, proof, and offer language when the run finishes, complete private details marked Client input needed, and use a section button to retry any unsuccessful section.

  4. Paste content cleanly

Paste source material into a rich text field when needed. SalesHive normalizes imported document-specific fonts, colors, headings, and bold styling at paste time, and collapses empty Word or Docs spacer rows plus stacked line breaks so sentences stay adjacent. Existing saved content and formatting you intentionally apply with the editor controls stay as they are until you paste or select Reformat.

  5. Reformat an existing rich text field

Select Reformat in that field's toolbar to apply Playmaker's standard readable styling to its current content, including collapsing empty spacer rows. It saves through the field's normal auto-save boundary only when the cleanup changes the content.

  6. Use presentation mode for a staff-led kickoff

Staff can enter the focused presentation view when they need a cleaner kickoff experience. It is reversible, so leaving the mode restores normal Platform navigation.

  7. Keep navigation while working

Both client and staff viewers retain the shared Platform navigation while using Playmaker. Only staff can temporarily hide it with presentation mode during a kickoff.

  8. Log in with the connected client account

If a client opens a Playmaker that is not available to their current account, select Log in and use the work email connected to the client account. SalesHive returns the client to that same Playmaker after login.

  9. Add client materials

From Client Materials, choose a section and upload one or more TXT, PDF, CSV, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, or WEBP files up to 25MB each, create a Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel workbook, or Word document, or add a reference link. The embedded materials library stays tied to this Playmaker deal for reading and changes.

  10. Confirm that edits are saved

Open or refresh Playmaker without editing when you only need to review it. Saved server content, including blank rich text fields and the loaded website or notes values, does not create an unsaved state. When you do edit, watch the status bar. Each field saves independently after a short pause or when you leave the field. Switching section tabs or changing Hide completed updates the browser address without remounting the editor, so an in-flight field save can finish normally. Press Ctrl+S to save the full Playmaker immediately. If a save fails, your edits stay on the page, the error banner explains the failure, and Retry save sends the full current Playmaker again. SalesHive warns before a real page exit only when edits remain unsaved or a save failed.

  11. Use a read-only Playmaker preview

SDR, SDR Manager, and responder lanes see the client-style Playmaker preview and cannot change fields or run AI generation. If you need to make strategist edits, switch out of the SDR or responder view and reopen the same client.

What the buttons do

Fill out every strategy section
Researches relevant pages on the primary company website and drafts all strategy sections using public evidence plus higher-priority direct client context. The button stays unavailable while the full run is active.
Open website
Opens the Primary company website in a new tab so you can confirm that the correct official site is selected before drafting.
Playmaker generation status

Common questions

Add what the company sells, the best-fit buyer, important proof or differentiators, and any claim or target SalesHive should avoid. Direct client context takes priority when it conflicts with public website evidence.
It starts with the primary company website and inspects relevant official product, service, use case, industry, case study, customer story, offer, resource, documentation, and company pages. It uses reputable third-party sources only to corroborate or fill a gap.
No. Unsupported private facts stay marked Client input needed. Strategic choices can be proposed directly, but they cannot contain unsupported claims about the company.
Yes. Check that the selected website belongs to the intended company, review each saved section, and complete private commercial details, kickoff contacts, email domains, and other client-only setup information.
No. It is a staff-only, reversible view for presenting during a kickoff. Client viewers retain normal Platform navigation while working in Playmaker.
No. It only changes the surrounding workspace view. Playmaker content remains auto-saved as usual.
Client Materials accepts TXT, PDF, CSV, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, and WEBP files up to 25MB each. You can also create a Google Sheet, Google Doc, Excel workbook, or Word document, or add a link.
Imported document-specific fonts, colors, headings, and bold styling are normalized at paste time so the editor stays readable. Empty Word or Docs spacer rows and stacked line breaks collapse so pasted sentences stay together. Existing saved content and formatting you intentionally apply with the editor controls are not changed by that paste cleanup.
It runs the current field through the same standard styling cleanup used for pasted content, including collapsing empty spacer rows. It does nothing when the field is already in that format, and otherwise saves the cleaned result.
While a full run is active, it shows the current section, how many sections have saved, elapsed time, progress, and a status message. Finished sections are saved automatically, and the panel tells you when a section needs a retry.
No. The individual section buttons are unavailable until the full run finishes, which prevents overlapping drafts.
The current client account is not authorized for that Playmaker. Select Log in and use the work email connected to the client account. After sign-in, SalesHive returns you to the same Playmaker.
They always belong to the deal rendered by this Playmaker, not a different or stale switcher selection.
Keep the page open and select Retry save. Your current edits remain in the browser. When the status returns to Changes saved or Changes are auto-saved, it is safe to leave. The browser warns before leaving when edits are genuinely unsaved or a save failed.
SDR, SDR Manager, and responder lanes use the client-style read-only preview. Authorized strategist and other staff views keep the editing and AI generation controls.
Yes. Section tabs and Hide completed update the local view and browser address without remounting the editor. The pending field save continues, and tab switching alone does not trigger a leave-page warning.
Opening or refreshing Playmaker loads saved server content without treating it as a new edit. The leave-page warning appears only after a real unsaved change or a failed save.
